PURPOSE:To start and reset a power supply with remote operations and also to start the power supply automatically in a service recovery mode after a service interruption, by confirming the state set before the service interruption in a service recovery mode according to the storage contents of a memory and resetting the state set before the service interruption. CONSTITUTION:When a power supply is cut off due to a service interruption, the start of the 1st power supply circuit 51 is stopped. Thus no power supply voltage is supplied to the 2nd power supply circuit 52, a power supply control circuit 53, a communication control circuit 54 and a memory circuit 55 respectively. Then the service interruption is recovered and the circuit 51 is started to supply the power supply voltage to circuits 52-55. Thus the circuit 53 decides the recovery of the service interruption and reads the state of an electronic device set before the service interruption out of the circuit 55. Here the circuit 53 discriminate the start of the power supply since the start data on the power supply is stored. Then the circuit 53 starts the circuit 52 and impresses the power supply voltage to a magnetic card reader part 15, a slip printer 16, a payment unit 17, a primary control part 31, a service unit 32, etc. Thus each part starts its working and the payment transactions are possible with customers. |
