New semi-synthetic derivatives of 4''-erythromycin A and their preparation are described. The new compounds of the invention correspond to the formulae I and II in which the symbols have the meaning given in Claim 1. The compounds of formulae I and II, in which X and Y are a pair H, NH2, possess antibacterial properties and can be used as medicinal products.
