PURPOSE:To obtain inexpensive picture angle scanning suitable for unidirectional transmission by providing an image scanner, a data converting means for converting the format of picture information possible for serial print, a unidirectional line and a serial printer at the reception end. CONSTITUTION:A CADA transmitter 2 and a CADA receiver 3 are used. A printer 27 is a serial printer, which prints 24 lines by one serial print. The image scanner IF 5 at the transmission side has a data buffer for 24 lines' share and the transmission side transmits intermittently data in a preset timing in matching with the operating speed of the reception side printer. The data transfer from the transmission side is executed in a short time and while the printer 7 prints once, the image scanner 4 of the transmission side fetches the next new data, and until one print of the printer 7 is finished and the next data transfer is finished, the scanner 4 is in standby state. Since the data is converted into a format possible for being printed by the printer of the reception side and then transmitted, it is not required to provide transmission/reception function to one unit and unidirectional communication without hand-shake is attained.
