PURPOSE:To reduce the cost of the title transfer method by transferring the loading/unloading information on a recording medium given from a host computer to an automatic storing housing via a record controller. CONSTITUTION:The loading/unloading information on a recording medium is transferred to an automatic storing housing 10 from a computer 1 via a channel 2 and a recorder controller 3 with a system where the read/write information of the recording medium are transferred to recorders 4a, 4b and 4c from the computer 1 via the channel 2 and the controller 3. Then the housing 10 given an access to a desired recording medium based on those information transferred. The recording medium is loaded to one of recorders 4a-4c. The recording medium is unloaded and stored to its original position after the due processing is over. This can omit the conventional exclusive controller or channel.
