PURPOSE:To arrange so that the attachment of an ink sheet transport system may be made feasible by installing the ink sheet transport system on an upper frame through a pressure member. CONSTITUTION:If an upper frame 2 is lifted open centering about a fulcrum shaft 20, a recording material transport system and an ink sheet transport system are separated because of the installation of an ink sheet frame 7 on the upper frame 2, and a wide space is created above the a recording material holder 3. As a result, the replacement of recording material 4 or an ink sheet 9 is rendered feasible. In addition, when the upper frame 2 is mounted, it has only to be closed as it is with the fulcrum shaft 20 as a center. Then a notch 21 in the ink sheet frame 7 and a positioning pin 22 for a lower frame 1 are fitted into each other, thus positioning both frames 1, 2 automatically. In turn, the fulcrum shaft gear 12, 13 of the ink sheet transport system, a feed gear 14 anda take-up gear 15 are securely intermeshed with each other. |
