PURPOSE:To change easily the transverse size of a strip by providing a nozzle for ejecting a molten metal formed by positioning slidably two pieces of nozzle half parts each made into the shape bisecting a circular columnar shape so as to face each other and making changeable the transverse size of the slit aperture part thereof. CONSTITUTION:The titled producing apparatus has a vessel 4 for contg. a moltem metal 3 and the nozzle 2 for ejecting the molten metal communicated with the molten metal supply port 4a of the vessel 4. The nozzle 2 is constituted by positioning freely slidly the two nozzle half parts made into the shape bisecting the circular cylindrical body in the diametral direction in such a manner that the respective diametral end faces thereof face each other. The slit aperture part 9 of which the width changes according to the relative sliding of both nozzle half parts in the axial line direction is formed between the two nozzle 2 half parts. A nozzle mounting recess 4A is provided to the above-mentioned port 4a and the nozzle 4 is fitted and held into said recess 4A. |
