PURPOSE:To simplify an input operation of data by reading one of the initial working condition value of the total number N that designates the output of the corresponding variable resistor after A/D conversion and the attribute of said condition value out of a specific conversion table of a nonvolatile memory means in an application mode of a power supply and displaying said value. CONSTITUTION:The output of a variable resistor 6 which is set at a position accordant with the input data is supplied to a deciding means 8 via an A/D converter 7. Then the areas are set after dividing the full scale of an input position measuring means consisting of a resistor 6 and the converter 7 into the a-fold (a: >=2 integers) as much as the total number N of the initial working condition value. Then a conversion table where each (a) pieces of areas are difined as a unit and set in response to the initial working condition value A is provided to a non-volatile memory means 9. Furthermore the first value A is set and supplied, and this information is informed to the means 8 via a switch 10. Then the value A of a temporary memory means 3 and its attribute are displayed to a display means 5 when the switch 10 is closed. The output of the resistor 6 is read in a power supply reset mode despite volatilization of the value A of the means 3 due to the loss of the power supply. Then the value A is stored to the means 3 with the means 8.
