摘要 PURPOSE:To measure bidirectional oscillation and increase a maximum amplitude which can be detected by supporting a sensor with a spring so that it swings in two dimensions of a convergent rod lens, and providing a two-dimensional fiber array as a substitute a photodetection fiber. CONSTITUTION:When external oscillation is applied, the spot of a transmitting optical fiber 1 which is formed on the incidence end surface of the two-dimensional optical fiber array 7 is displaced and light is incident on a fiber element wire at the position. Therefore, a fiber element wire which projects light at the projection end of the two-dimensional optical fiber array 7 to measure the oscillation. Resolution depends upon the external diameters of fibers of the two-dimensional optical fiber array 7 and the external diameter of the transmitting optical fiber 1, and when the both are, for example, 10Xm thick, resolution of 10mum is obtained. Further, the maximum amplitude which can be detected is determined by the external diameter of fibers and the number of arrayed wires and when the former is, for example, 10mum and the two-dimensional fiber array 7 consists of 200X200 fibers, the maximum amplitude is + or -1mm and a larger amplitude is measured as the number of fibers of the two-dimensional fiber array 7 is increased.
