PURPOSE:To provide the titled compsn. whose attrition rate is changed along the thickness of its coating film, by using, as a vehicle component, a plurality of film forming high-molecular compds., one of which is an organotin-contg. high-molecular compd. and in which a difference in solubility parameter therebetween is in a specified range. CONSTITUTION:A triorganotin salt of a carboxylic acid contg. one radical- polymerizable double bond (e.g. triethyltin salt of acrylic acid) is (co)polymerized to prepare an organotin-contg. high-molecular compd. A plurality of organotin- contg. high-molecular compds. having different solubility parameters are prepd. and combined. Alternatively, a plurality of organotin-contg. high-molecular compds. having different solubility parameters are combined with a organotin- free high-molecular compd. to prepare a mixture wherein a difference in solubility parameter between the compds. is in the range of 0.2-1. The mixture is used as a vehicle component to obtain the desired self-abrasive antifouling coating compsn.
