PURPOSE:To print efficiently, by a method wherein an adjusting body is operated to an adjusting position based on image area ratio information indicated by light-emitting elements to accord it to an indicator provided with light-receiving elements, tentative printing is conducted, fine adjustment is conducted, light emitted is read by the light-receiving element, recording is conducted, and a recorded medium is used for initial setting. CONSTITUTION:The image area ratio of a printing plate 16 is measured by a printing plate image area ratio meter 15 for each ink supply region of each doctor blade 11, and a magnetic card 18 with initial setting data recorded thereon is outputted from a magnetic card reader-writer 17. When performing four- color offset printing, four magnetic cards 18 are obtained from the magnetic card reader-writer 17. When the magnetic card 18 is inputted through an input- output part 21 by the operator 20, a controller 19 reads the data stored in the card 18, indicates the data as an initial set position for each doctor blade 11, and outputs the magnetic card 18a with the opening after fine adjustment stored therein. |
