PURPOSE:To make easily an exact immunological analysis by mixing the same specimen as a specimen sample with a liquid mixture subjected to photometry and determining the turbid component thereof after mixing. CONSTITUTION:A reaction reagent is mixed with the specimen sample and an antigen-antibody complex is formed by an antigen-antibody reaction. The intensity of scattered light is measured upon completion of the formation reaction and a measured value (a) is obtd. The specimen sample is mixed with the reactive liquid at the same amt. as the amt. added first right after the measurement and the intensity of the scattered light of the liquid mixture is immediately measured. The measured value is designated as (b). The measured value (b-a) is the increment by the turbidity of the specimen itself and therefore [a-(b-a)]=2a-b indicates the turbid value generated by the antigen-antibody complex. The correction with high accuracy is thus made possible even if the relation between the turbid component and the photometric value is not linear owing to multiple scattering. The easy measurement is thereby made possible. |
