This device is designed for testing the pregnancy possibility of a female mammal. The device comprises (a) an electro-probe for detecting the electro-chemical potential difference within the vagina according to the reduction and oxidation behavior of vaginal secretion which is affected by sexual hormones. And (b) a detector for amplifying the electric signals. An electro-probe having diameter, length, and shape suitable for insertion into vagina is made up of 2 electrodes, an anode and a cathode, consisting of metals which are different in electro-chemical potential. The 2 electrodes are insulated and are available in plastic bodies.
