PURPOSE:To prevent irregularity of development, etc., due to a rise in temperature by providing a heat conductive heat absorbing member which contacts a circulating developer and fluid which contacts this heat absorbing member. CONSTITUTION:An external container 13 is fitted outside an internal container 3 which contains the developer 8 over the entire surface at a specific interval, and fluid 14 consisting of, for example, transformer oil is charged between the internalcontainer 3 and external container 13. Further, the external container 13 is covered with a heat insulating material 15 and a thermoelectric cooling element 16 is fitted on the bottom surface. When heat is accumulated while the developercirculates in the developing device 2 in contact with the internal container 3, the heat is conducted into the fluid 14 through the internal container 3, so the temperature of the developer 8 is prevented from rising and development irregularity, defect in the detection of toner density, etc., are prevented. |
