PURPOSE:To obtain a television receiver which monitors momentarily transmitted programs while displaying a specific picture for a character broadcast or the like, by providing two display CRTs and two memories where one-picture components of information are stored entirely. CONSTITUTION:Multiplexed information such as characters and graphic patterns which are superposed in the horizontal scanning time during the vertical blanking interval and are transmitted are converted to a video signal by a video detecting circuit 1 and are processed by a normal character broadcast receiving circuit consisting of a waveform shaping circuit 2, a synchronizing separating circuit 3, chrominance subcarrier reproducing circuit 4, a gate pulse generating circuit 5, a clock generating circuit 6, a sampling circuit 7, a framing code detecting circuit 8, etc. Two main memories 10 and 11 and CRTs 13 and 14 are operated through a W/R control circuit 9 incorporating a microcomputer by the instruction of a program selecting circuit 12, thereby displaying always two different picture. |
