PURPOSE:To form the chip type coil element of extremely high reliability having no disconnection at all on both connected parts by a method wherein the external force, to be applied to each connected part located between a terminal plate and a core, and a terminal plate and a coil, is brought to the minimum. CONSTITUTION:A pair of terminal plates 4 and 5 are led out to outside a case 1 from the hollow part A located inside the case through the intermediaries of the connected part of the ferrite bodies 1a and 1b with which the case 1 is constituted, and said terminal plates perform an additional function wherein a coil 3 is electrically connected to the external circuit. Also, the pair of terminal plates 4 and 5 composed of the non-magnetic material such as copper and the like for the purpose of preventing the deterioration of the Q characteristics of the coil 3, and they are formed into a tabular or columnar shape. The pair of terminal plates 4 and 5 are connected in a pinched manner to a plurality of ferrite bodies 1a and 1b having high mechanical strength. As the junction surface located between the terminal plates and the case 1 is large and the end parts of 4a and 5a of the terminal plates 4 and 5 are bent at the hollow part A located inside the case 1, the terminal plates can be firmly connected and fixed to the case 1. |
