<p>PURPOSE:To form a highly efficient loose coupling transformer by a method wherein the relation between the dimentional ratio of opposingly positioned coils and the clearance of the coils is established as prescribed. CONSTITUTION:The radial ratio a/a0 of each coil is indicated in the x-axis in the diagram, and the value obtained by having the mutual inductance M at this time normalized by the mutual inductance Mo at the time of a0=a, namely M/Mo, is indicated in the y-axis in the diagram. While the radial dimentional ratio of a/a0 of the two coils L1 and L2 is small, the mutual inductance ratio of M/Mo increases in accordance with the increase in the above- mentioned ratio, and it changes at the intrinsic point of a/a0 in such a manner that it has the maximum value. This means that the maximum mutual inductance can be obtained by properly selecting the caliber measurement ratio of both coils corresponding to the distance between the coils. Accordingly, if the measurements of the two coils are properly set in accordance with the clearance of the coils in the condition of usage of the loose coupling transformer, a far large mutual inductance can be obtained by using the coil of the same size as that which is used in the part.</p> |
