PURPOSE:To enable to perform the recognition of the recognizing pads correctly and in a short time by a method wherein the history of the coordinates of the first recognizing pad, which is stored by the past recognition of the first recognizing pad, is utilized as data on the coordinates, which are needed for making the ITV camera move for recognizing the recognizing pads. CONSTITUTION:Firstly, the positional relation between a first recognizing pad 9 and a second recognizing pad 10 and the respective positional relations between boding pads p ... are memorized in a memory 17 conforming to the types of a lead frame 3 and a chip 2, then the normal coordinates of the first recognizing pad 9 and the second recognizing pad 10 or the offset amount between an ITV camera 7 and a bonding tool 5, which are provided on an X-Y table 6, and so forth are memorized in the memory 17 and the initialization is performed. Provided that, data on the prearranged normal coordinates of the first recognizing pad 9, which is set at the time of the initialization, are used as the moving destination data needed for making the ITV camera 7 move in the first cycle and data, which are inputted from a moving destination data inputting means 19, are used as the moving destination data from the second cycle on. |
