PURPOSE:To reduce the distributed capacitance of a toroidal deflecting coil and thereby prevent the occurrence of ringing phenomena by winding the uppermost layer or multiple layers from the uppermost to the lower in a shape with a central portion blanked. CONSTITUTION:A toroidal deflecting coil 11 is constituted as a double layer structure of a lower layer coil 11A and an upper layer coil 11B, which are connected in series through a return wire (not shown in the figure) and besides the coil 11B is formed with the central portion blanked as a feed wire 11C. In such a configuration, the upper layer coil is not provided over the feed wire 11C and thereby any pressure would not be applied by the upper layer coil. Therefore, the distributed capacitance of the deflecting coil 11 is reduced. Also, in a toroidal deflecting coil 21 with a triple layer configuration, a feed wire 21D with narrow width in circular direction is provided in the middle layer 21B and a feed wire 21E with wide width is provided in the uppermost layer coil 21C and thereby the distributed capacitance of the deflecting coil 21 is reduced and the occurrence of ringing phenomena is prevented. |
