The present invention relates to the long-distance transmission of forces and movements. This device comprises two cylinder-piston hydraulic actuators 2, 3 connected by a very flexible tube 4 which is reinforced with a textile covering making it inextensible. Each actuator comprises a hydraulic-liquid chamber separated from a fluid chamber by a rolling membrane. The piston comprises a cup-shaped part and a thin rod 17 guided by a channel 17'. The slot between the cylinder 5 and the piston 6 is only three to five times the thickness of the membrane, in order to ensure that the guiding is accurate. Main application - long distance controls for cars (for example control for the opening of the luggage boot). <IMAGE>
