PURPOSE:To prevent the breakage of a paper sheet, bending of the top edge, etc. by turning a stop member having a guide surface and a contact surface having the effective width narrower than the transportation width of the paper sheet and erecting and lowering the contact surface from the standstill plane and allowing the paper sheet to certainly stop at a prescribed position. CONSTITUTION:A stop member 13 is assembled with an auxiliary member 19 which is continuous at the equal height to the upper surface of an original- copy board 10 and whose C1-C3 surfaces are attached onto the edge surface of the original-copy board 10, and switched between the stop and release positions by the turn around the axis O over the upper surface of the board 10. The effective width l1 of the contact surface 20 of the member 13 is set narrower than the transportation width lP of a paper sheet. Therefore, even if the both side edges of the paper sheet P contact at an angle with respect to the surface 20, the paper sheet P is prevented from being applied with a load concentrically at the side edge, and the generation of bending is prevented. When the stop member 13 is set the stop position, and the surface 20 is erected from the upper surface of the board 10, the top edge of the paper sheet P other than the both side edges contacts with the surface 20, and stops at the position. |
