PURPOSE:To prevent an easy busy state of a store buffer by setting the store buffer width at the value double as much as the data boundary length and absorbing the continuous store requests into a pair of store buffers. CONSTITUTION:The store data of 8-byte width are arrayed at the data boundary by an alignment circuit 4 and stored to a 16-byte data register 1. The store address is stored to a store address register 2 as well as to a byte mark generating circuit 5 together with the store length. Then a flag showing the bytes to be stored is stored to a byte mark register 3. When a new store request is given, a comparator 6 decides whether the new store request can be absorbed by the store request already stored. If said absorption is possible, the new request is absorbed by the old request and stored again to the register 3. While these requests are stored to another idle buffer when said absorption is impossible.
