Filling fabric in lagging sheets and bands

Filling fabric is incorporated in lagging sheets and bands by soldering to the transverse and longitudinal wires which cross it at their crossover points. The fabric is a fine mesh type such as that used for fly screens. The longitudinal or transverse threads of the fabric consist at least partially of synthetic threads. These can be alternated individually with wire threads, or alternated in groups with the wire threads. The synthetic thread can be of round or flat cross-section.
