PURPOSE:To prevent flaw and dirt on a surface of exterior parts by forming hard film on the surface of exterior parts of wrist watch, etc. by ion plating method, further coating a mixture of Na silicate and silicasol thereon and drying it. CONSTITUTION:Hard layer of TiN having beautiful golden color, or hard film of oxide of Ti or Cr, carbide is formed on the surface of exterior parts of wrist watch case, band by ion plating method. Next, 1:1 mixture soln. of Na silicate and silicasol is coated on the surface by ultrasonic blasting method or reduced pressure permeation method, dried at about 150 deg.C for 10-30min to form transparent hard glass film having 3-4mu thickness. Protecting film superior in resistances for moisture, corrosion, wear, and outer appearance can be formed. |
