PURPOSE:To spread phosphor membrane evenly over a whole bulb, by spreading phosphor solution inside a bulb which has opening in the direction crossing the plane of the bending portion, and drying up the bulb in the position sloping to the horizon with its openings facing downward. CONSTITUTION:A bulb 30 has openings 32 and 33, bent in the direction crossing the plane including its bending portion 31. The bulb 30 is placed on a table 18 with its openings 32 and 33 facing downward and facing to the air blower outlets 24 and 25 respectively. By turning a handle 14, on this condition, the sloping angle of the turning frame 12 can be controlled, and the bending portion 31 of the bulb 30 is sloped to the horizon with the openings 32 and 33 facing downward, so that the openings 32 and 33 are kept facing downward. Then the air blows out through the outlets 24 and 25, and blows into the bulb through the openings 32 and 33 alternatively, so that it dries up the phosphor solution spread over the inner surface of the bulb. |
