PURPOSE:To carry out the drawing of a lap and prevent the occurrence of licking, by providing a special conductor between the lap drawn out of a comber on lap rolls and a feed roll on a nipper. CONSTITUTION:A lap conductor apparatus having the upper conductor (4A) and lower conductor (7A) provided between the front lap roll (3A) and a feed roll (10A) for leading a lap 2 drawn out of a comber lap 1 placed on the pair of lap rolls (3A) and (3B). The upper conductor (4A) is pivoted on almost the center in the longitudinal direction, and the downward lower conductor (7A) connected to a nipper (8A) at the lower end thereof is hinged on the front end thereof. The upper conductor (4A) is capable of up-and-down movement about a pin (5A) in the central part by rocking of the lower conductor (7A) in the forward and backward direction due to the forward an backward movement of the nipper (8A).
