PURPOSE:To prevent the dispersion of a flux when a copper transfer pot and a silicon pellet are combined by filling a through hole of the copper transfer pot with a soldering material. CONSTITUTION:A copper transfer pot 5 and a silicon pellet 7 are combined by fusing a soldering material 6 filled in one end of a through hole of the pot 5, for example, by irradiating it with a laser beam 10 and applying it to the pot 5 and the silicon pellet 7. Accordingly, as a flux is not dispersed at combining them, a laser diode is not contaminated by the flux and the good quality can be ensured constantly.
