PURPOSE:A paper adhesive tape, obtained by forming a silicon based release agent layer on one side of a paper base material having polyolefin film layers provided on both sides thereof and further forming an adhesive layer on the other side, having improved anchoring properties, and available efficiently at a low cost without causing peeling, curling, etc. CONSTITUTION:A paper adhesive tape obtained by forming polyolefin film layers such as PE or PP having preferably 3-15mu thickness on both sides of a paper base material, usually subjecting the surfaces of the above-mentioned resin films to corona discharge or intense heat melting treatment to oxidize the surfaces, forming a silicon based release agent layer on one side of the above-mentioned resin layers, and forming an adhesive layer from an adhesive containing 1-10pts.wt. isocyanate component in rubber or acrylic resin on the other side.
