PURPOSE:To expand the applicating range of CPU by a method in which after stamping action is started, CPU is separated from RAM for printing and the stamping action is allowed independently of CPU. CONSTITUTION:A port 8 is operated according to address signals from CPU3, a thermal head controller 22 is controlled, and the data bus (a) and address bus (b) of CPU3 are connected with RAM6 for printing. Stamp data supplied from an input unit 1 are stored in the RAM6 in order according to RAM byte- address signals from CPU3. When printing start signals are sent out from CPU3, the signals are supplied through the port 8 to the controller 22, and CPU3 is separated from RAM6. In the controller 22, as soon as stamp data are read out, thermal head control signals are prepared and applied with stamp data to the thermal head 9, and printing is made on a copy paper by a planned stamp.
