PURPOSE:To form a depth at a time with a high precision by a laser beam, by forming a hole connected to a winding hole on the depth end side by the laser beam and determining the gap depth with this hole. CONSTITUTION:Core half bodies 10 and 11 formed with amorphous ribbons are joined to form a main core 6, and auxiliary cores 7 are joined to both sides of the main core 6. In case of formation of a gap depth D, a laser of high energy is irradiated to the main core through a transparent glass 8 of auxiliary cores 7 to form a hole 12, and the depth D is formed momently. In this case, the hole 12 is so provided that it is connected to a winding hole 14. Thus, it is unnecessary to repeat polishing and observation alternately for depth adjustment in a conventional method, and the depth is formed at a time with a high precision by the laser. |
