PURPOSE:A lubricating oil for refrigerators, obtained by adding and mixing a poly alpha-olefin as a viscosity index improver with mineral oil or an alkylbenzene, having a small viscosity change with temperature and improved viscosity index, and capable of giving good gas sealing property and lubricity to compressors. CONSTITUTION:A lubricating oil obtained by mixing (B) preferably <=50vol% poly alpha-olefin as a viscosity index improver with (A) a base oil consisting of mineral oil, preferably naphthenic mineral oil having improved low-temperature characteristics and/or an alkylbenzene based synthetic oil. |
