The invention relates to a multi-region time relay, in the case of which a plug module is provided for selecting different functions and time regions, on the front of which plug module the region and function which apply to this plug module are marked and which can be pushed into an insertion opening in the relay. When it is pushed in, suitable contact laminates are effectively connected so that the corresponding programming is carried out in the multi-region time relay.
