The invention relates to a window pane made of transparent plastic which is envisaged in particular for use in caravans, motor homes and mobile homes and consists of two panes which are arranged at a distance from one another, are interconnected rigidly over the entire edge and between which at least one distance piece is arranged for fastening a fitting. In order to avoid the occurrence of tears and openings, through which moisture can penetrate into the intermediate space between inner pane and outer pane, the distance piece is connected to the inner surface of the outer pane, preferably by welding or adhesive bonding. Furthermore, the distance piece is provided with at least one receiving opening which serves to receive a fastening means for the fitting and which is guided through the inner pane and, in the region between outer pane and inner pane, connected to at least one suction duct which is connected to the intermediate space between the panes and through which gases can be drawn off during manufacture of the window pane, which gases, during the connection of the outer pane and inner pane, arise at their edge.
