PURPOSE:To suppress droppage of idle rotation against the variation of load by providing an interruption pulse signal asynchronous with the engine rotation to fuel injection valve and executing interruption injection upon occurrence of proportional component of idle rotation control. CONSTITUTION:Feedback control means B is provided with proportional component generating means C for correcting the controlled opening of idle control valve 5 arranged in the bypath 4 of throttle valve 3 by the amount approximately proportional to the difference between the actual rotation and target rotation to incremental side. Upon occurrent of said proportional component, interrupt injection control means D will feed an interrupt pulse signal asynchronous with the rotation of the engine 8 to fuel injection valve 2 in addition to synchronous signal from fuel injection control means A. Consequently, droppage of idle rotation is reduced against the variation of load resulting in stabilization of idle rotation.
