PURPOSE:To transmit easily a numeral and also the transmit data other than a character and a numeral by switching that an input data is transmitted after being recognized or transmitted without being recognized in a small sized data transceiver provided with an input device by means of character recognition. CONSTITUTION:A touch switch 22 receiving scan data outputted from an operating section 7 via a gate circuit G3 detects a coordinate, the data is processed by the operation section 7 via a gate circuit G5 and written on a RAM6. The reception data is processed by the operation section 7 via a gate circuit G4 and written on the RAM6. In transmitting data in the RAM6 to other electronic wrist watch or the center, the data is converted into analog serial data by a data converting circuit 14 and the data is transmitted to a transmission section 15. A switch S1 in a key switch 16 is a mode changeover selection switch, an S2 is a selection switch transmitting a hand-written input with/without recognition, and an S3 is a selection switch selecting the transmission of the hand- written input or a memory data stored in advance.
