PURPOSE:To greatly increase printing speed for papers by providing a filmy ink holder with many holes or recessions to hold ink, a thermal head provided on one side, an ink supplier to supply ink to the holes or recessions, and a mover for the ink holder. CONSTITUTION:A pair of guide bars 7 and 8 are set on the lower part of a fixer 1 with a thermal head 2 and an ink supplied 3. A filmy ink holder 10 is held by paired holders 11 and 12 on a holder 9 provided slidably to the bars 7 and 8 in a movable manner toward the longitudinal direction with the aid of a spring 13. In the holder 10, hole or recession group 19 provided in an unfolding triangle form toward toward the longitudinal direction, starting with a hole or recession 18. Ink held in the holes or recessions 18 of the holder 10 is heated by the head 2 and jetted onto a paper 21 for printing. |
