PURPOSE:To decrease a time when the title device is in a position of a bus master by providing the 1st detection section detecting whether or not data exist on a transmission line, the 2nd detection section detecting coincidence/ dissidence between transmission data and reception data and a transmission control section. CONSTITUTION:A carrier detection section 28 receives a supervision start signal 34 from a transmission control section 22, receives data via a line receiver 25 for a prescribed period in transmission, detects whether or not data exists on the transmission line 1, transmits a carrier detection signal 32 to the transmission control section 22 when the data exists to block the transmission of the transmission control section 22. A transmission/reception data dissidence detecting section 29 receives data via a line receiver 25, receives transmission data from the transmission control section 22, detects the coincident state between them, and if a collision with a token from other station takes place on the transmission line 1, a transmission/reception dissidence signal 33 is outputted to a token control secton 30, which applies processing of suprevision again to the transmission line 1 from the beginning.
