PURPOSE:To identify a specific party among replied parties for an incoming subscriber's equipment by providing plural call tone trunks having different tones and a call tone type exchange converting an outgoing subscriber number depending on a predetermined call tone trunk type at each incoming subscriber to an incoming station exchange. CONSTITUTION:An exchange 11 receives a connection request signal from an exchange 12 to a subscriber's equipment 111 of an incoming subscirber, and when the 111 discriminats a call to be incoming, an outgoing subscriber number and an incoming subscriber number are transferred to a call tone type converter 14 to apply exchange request. Then the call tone type converter 14 obtains, e.g., a call tone type T1 from a conversion list storage section 141 corresponding to the subscriber's equipment 111 of the incoming subscriber under the control of a conversion control section 140, transfers it to the exchange 11, acquires an idle call tone trunk 1101 belonging to a group of the tone type T1, connects the subscriber's equipment 111 and the call tone trunk 1101 via a channel switch 110 to allow an incoming subscriber accommodated in the said subscriber's equipment 111 to listen to an audible tone.
