Self-locking spring bracket

The self-locking spring bracket is used for axially fixing a component on a bolt or pin. It consists of two expanding tongues, which are supported on the bolt sheath at an acute angle with respect to the radial plane and are provided on their ends pointing away from the bolt with supporting surfaces which, for their part, are integrally connected to one another via flat webs. In order to be able to open the spring nut easily when required, the webs are passed around on the bolt in a coaxial curve and are placed on edge with respect to the radial plane so that the expanding tongues are pressed away from the bolt when the webs are pressed together. However, in order to prevent permanent deformation occurring when the webs are pressed together, the webs have lugs which project on both sides at their free ends, are directed against the inner wall of the flat webs and are intended to limit the pressing of the webs together to the elastic bending region.
