PURPOSE:To orient a magnetic powder to increase the reproduced output and make high-density recording possible by storing a disc, to which a magnetic recording liquid is applied, in a conductive box and connecting a power source between a center shaft and the peripheral wall. CONSTITUTION:Each of an upper divided body 8 and a lower divided body 9 consisting of conductive materials such as copper or the like is formed by bending one plate material, and a power source 15 is connected to a projecting wall 12 of the upper divided body 8 and a shaft part 14 of the lower divided body 9. A base material 1 to which a magnetic recording liquid 4 is applied is stored in this conductive box, and a prescribed current is supplied. A magnetic field in a prescribed direction is generated by this power supply to orient the magnetic powder, and the base material 1 is dried after an axis 16 of easy magnetization is oriented in the rotating direction of a recording medium. Thus, the reproduced output is increased by 2-4 times in comparison with a conventional reproduced output, and the recording density is improved by 4-8 times.
