Process for the production of C6+ aromatics

A process for the production of C6+ aromatics and/or high-octane fuel components from aliphatic C6- to C10-hydrocarbons is described. In order to obtain aromatics of the same C number, in particular benzene, toluene and xylene, from n-paraffins in high yield and selectivity, it is proposed to dehydrate and aromatise the C6- to C10-hydrocarbons in one process step using a solid catalyst.
