PURPOSE:To take selectively only the quantized output of a desired position into a computer by constituting a coordinate detecting part, which is depressed softly to output a signal proportional to depressed coordinates, and a switch part, which is operated only when the coordinate detecting part is depressed more strongly, into one body. CONSTITUTION:When a device is depressed softly by a depressing material 1, only depressed points of resistance films 5 and 8 are made conductive through an anisotropic conductive sheet 6. When the device is depressed more strongly, a force is applied to the whole of a thin plate 10, and one of switches provided under four corners of the thin plate 10 is turned on. Since one end of each switch 11 is grounded, one terminal of a computer 25 goes to the low level. If the terminal is an interrupt terminal of the computer 25, the interrupt processing is executed by the change from the high level to the low level of the input signal. That is, it is possible to execute the interrupt processing when the switch 11 is turned on. If a program of dot display or menu selection is prepared as the interrupt processing, the dot display or menu selecting operation is possible only in a specific position on a CRT 26.
