PURPOSE:To obtain the titled substance useful as an anti-allergic agent, by extracting a specific herb containing 3-0-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl(1 2k)-alpha-L- rhamnopyranosylquerce-tin with an extractant such as water, alcohol and ketone. CONSTITUTION:The flavone glucoside extract is prepared from a plant belonging to kalanchoe genus, crossulaceae family and containing 3-O-alpha-L-arabinopyranosyl (1 2)-alpha-L-rhamnopyranosylquercet-in by extracting the plant with an extraction solvent selected from water, alcohol and ketone or their mixture.
