The suspension device (1) according to the invention has an inner and an outer ring (2, 3) located on the same plane and connected to one another at one side, which allows automatic fitting onto bottle necks or bottle closures. Depending on the design, lateral and/or axial fitting onto containers is possible. In a special design of the invention, the inner and outer rings (2, 3) are interrupted in segments and a semi-circular connection (4) is provided in each case as a continuation between the rings (2, 3) so that the inner ring (2) can rest in the manner of a spring around a container neck (7) or container closure (8). To suspend the container (6) by means of the suspension device (1) on a suspension hook (10), the outer ring (3) can be fitted over the container closure (8). <IMAGE>
