The invention relates to a method and a device which are used for identifying oscillations, in the case of which method - as described - a signal is taken from its control elements to the flight-control and/or flight regulation system, in order to act on a warning device which is arranged in the aircraft cockpit, corresponding to the possible or existing state of position saturation of the control means and/or of a speed or distance saturation.
