摘要 PURPOSE:To achieve a saved labor, by magnetizing an iron core put tight on an object to be inspected with a magnetizing means so as to convert the same magnetizing means into a demagnetizing means. CONSTITUTION:A magnetic circuit is formed with a core 1 tight on an object to be inspected and upon the pressing of a magnetization switch 7, a contact 7a is closed to form an exciting circuit between a slide transformer 3 and a magnetization coil 2. As a contact 7b is also closed, a coil 9a is energized to make a switch contact point contact the contact 9b so that current will flows in the direction of the solid arrow to run a motor 6 and a slide piece 3a turns clockwise. Then, as the slide piece 3a reaches a specified voltage point, the motor 6 stops. At this point, as current flows through the coil 2, the object being inspected is magnetized to the saturation level to perform a magnetic powder flaw detection. Then, to demagnetize, a demagnetizing switch 8 is pressed and a contact 8a is closed to run current in the direction of the dotted arrow, causing the motor 6 to rotate in the direction opposite to that in the magnetization thereof. Then, a slide element 3a turns counterclockwise to stop the motor 6 and the switch 8 is opened to complete the demagnetization. In this manner, the saving of labor is made possible.
