An induction heating apparatus is formed by connecting a plate (7) made of good heat-transferring metal to the lower surface of an insulating plate (5), connecting a spring (8) having shape-memorizing function to one end of the metallic plate (7) and providing a temperature displaying means (9,11) at a corner portion in the front surface of the insulating plate (5).

The induction heating apparatus always displays a correct temperature of the insulating plate (5) even at a high temperature in a cooking pot. Further, no shaving or peeling-off of a paint can take place, which changes its color depending on temperature, and a danger of burn can be prevented.
