PURPOSE:To provide the title color reaction paper capable of giving developed color images with high density and free of unrequired color development contamination on the surface of a color reaction agent layer, wherein the color reaction agent layer comprises an organic color reaction agent and an inorganic pigment containing a specified amount of cubic calcium carbonate having a specified average particle diameter. CONSTITUTION:An inorganic pigment containing 50-100wt% of cubic calcium carbonate having an average particle diameter of 0.1-1.0mum is added to the color reaction agent layer comprising an organic color reaction agent, e.g., an aromatic carboxylic acid. If required, gelatine, casein or the like, a dispersant, e.g., sodium polyacrylate, and various additives are added to a coating liquid for forming the color reaction agent layer, and the coating liquid is applied to a base paper by an ordinary coater to obtain the desired color reaction agnet paper. |
