PURPOSE:To prevent the occurrence of dew condensation inside a cover, by installing both air suction and discharging devices in the cover of a taper ma chining shaft, in case of a wire-cut electric discharge machine performing the taper machining. CONSTITUTION:An air suction port 7 and an exhaust port 8 are installed in a U-V shaft cover 1, while the outside air is led in the shaft cover 1 via a suction duct D1 and the suction port 7, and it is discharged out of a discharge duct D2 by way of discharge port 8. With this constitution, the inside of the shaft cover 1 is always ventilated, thus dew condensation is preventable. |
