<p>PURPOSE:To control the output frequency of a power generation set irrespective of the rotating speed of a prime mover by providing a frequency converter between the primary winding terminal and the secondary winding terminal of an induction machine. CONSTITUTION:A frequency converter 4 is connected between the secondary output terminal 3 and the primary output terminal 2 of an induction machine 1, and a synchronous machine 14 is connected with the terminal 3. A rotor of the machine 1 is driven to increase more than 1 in slip by a prime mover 5. The converter 4 is controlled to supply the power of set frequency to 3-phase AC buses 3. Thus, the power of set frequency can be supplied irrespective of the rotating speed of the prime mover for driving a generator.</p> |
