PURPOSE:To reduce the number of corona generators and electric power source devices used in the titled transferring device so as to make the device compact, by earthing the device by using conductive members which are faced to each other with a dielectric belt in between and separated from the belt with a fixed clearance, and then, have pointed ends, as electricity removing devices. CONSTITUTION:The electricity removing effect of a dielectric belt 2 by means of conductive members 14 which are faced to each other is enlarged by provid ing a fixed gap G between the pointed ends of the members 14 and separating both the members 14 from the belt 2 so as to minimize the capacity between the belt 2 and members 14. Therefore, the pointed ends of each member 14 are sharpened and intervals of >=2mm are maintained between each pointed end. When such an electricity removing member is provided, the residual poten tial of the belt can be lowered to -30--200V. As a result, the number of corona dischargers and high-voltage power sources used in this transferring device can be reduced and the device can be made compacter. |
